Our eco-friendly mulching systems produce shredded mulch material that allows us to process trees and vegetation where they stand. This replaces the process commonly used in traditional land clearing, which includes tree and vegetation removal, material disposed by burning or hauling, and site clean-up.
Traditional land clearing is very costly due to the need to use multiple machines to complete the job. These methods also present an increased risk of erosion by pusing over trees (up-rooting the stump and roots) and disturbing the soil.
Mulching does not disturb the soil structure and leaves behind a protective layer of material, which acts as an erosion barrier. This protective layer also inhibits the regrowth of invasive species while returning nutrients back into the soil through decomposition.
Forestry Mulching for Right of Way Clearing
Forestry mulching is used in the right-of-way clearing and maintenance for roads, highways, pipelines, and other utility lines. This process often requires complete removal of standing trees, stumps, and vegetation. Some other reasons for right of way clearing and mulching is land clearing for site preparation (involves the cutting and removal of brush), clearing fence lines, and establishing walking paths for nature trails.

Establishing Natural Food Plots:
Through the use of forestry mulching a piece of land benefits from the removal of underbrush and invasive plant species (that choke out the new growth of preferred vegetation). Clearing a piece of land allows for the rejuvenation of grasses and other food sources that are beneficial to the local wildlife. Clear paths to water sources can also be established allowing animals easy access to the water. By allowing the growth of natural grasses and preferred vegetation encourages specific animals to seek out the area for shelter, and protection from extreme temperatures (Summer Heat/Winter Cold).
Forestry Management
Mulching is beneficial to the thinning of the forest and the removal of smaller, less desirable trees and vegetation. By thinning the overgrowth, the stress put on the forest is reduced and helps to protect from insects and disease. A huge forestry management advantage of mulching allows for the reduction of fuel sources for wildfires. Left untreated, this fuel builds up from the forest floor and builds up so in the event of a fire, the flames are able to burn the fuel and jump from tree to tree eventually getting into the tops of the trees, which is where a fire can spread most quickly.
